Mastercid Micro is a broad-spectrum, long-lasting, water-based concentrated microencapsulated insecticide-acaricide. The two active ingredients in its formulation are synergized by piperonyl butoxide, enabling the product to have both a high knockdown effect (tetramethrin) and a strong residual effect (cypermethrin).
FEATURES:
- LONG-LASTING EFFECT: The microencapsulated form provides extended residual activity. It is not absorbed by surfaces.
- HIGH EFFICACY: The microcapsules adhere better to insects’ exoskeletons and to surfaces, increasing the contact time with the insecticides.
- Thanks to its two active ingredients, Mastercid Micro effectively eliminates existing insects and prevents reinfestation for up to 90 days.
- DOMINO EFFECT: The capsules that stick to the insects' exoskeletons are carried back to their nests, creating a domino effect, especially effective against insects living in colonies (such as ants and cockroaches).
- It is resistant to atmospheric conditions and safe to use.
- FLUSH-OUT EFFECT: Insects tend to leave their hiding places and flee from the treated area.
- It is odorless and does not stain.
APPLICATION:
It can be easily and safely applied against all flying and crawling pests and insects (mosquitoes, cockroaches, houseflies, sandflies, litter beetles, fleas, scorpions, ants, ticks).

LCS-3 – NATURAL INSECTICIDE
LCS-3 is produced from a special high-purity freshwater diatomite (DE). Diatomaceous earth (DE) is an organic sediment formed from the fossilized, silica-based shells of single-celled microscopic algae known as siliceous algae. It is food-grade and suitable for organic farming.
LCS-3 physically abrades and absorbs the waxy protective cuticle layer on the exterior of insects using its microscopic sharp projections, causing rapid death due to dehydration. Insects cannot develop immunity or resistance to DE.
LCS-3 is an effective natural insecticide against crawling insects such as red mites and litter beetles.
What is the Red Mite?
Red mite (Dermanyssus gallinae), also known as poultry red mite, is the most significant skin ectoparasite of laying hens. These extremely common and nocturnal ectoparasites feed on up to 5% of a chicken’s blood during the night and then hide in cracks, crevices, and bedding material in poultry houses during the day. They can survive without feeding for up to 9 months.
Damages Caused by Red Mites:
- Pale combs due to anemia; death in cases of severe infestation
- Depressed and lethargic chickens
- Abnormal weight loss
- Decreased egg production (up to 20% in severe infestations)
- Increased feed consumption
- Dark spots and speckles on eggs; reduced egg quality
- Feather loss and signs of dermatitis in extreme infestations
- Potential vectors for poultry diseases such as Newcastle disease, avian influenza, and typhoid, as well as zoonotic diseases like salmonellosis
Combating Red Mites with LCS-3:
LCS-3 is applied to populated poultry houses, perches, nest boxes, and compartments. Between 1 to 2.5 kg of LCS-3 is applied per 100 m² using an appropriate dusting device. Applications can be repeated as needed. Liquid application is also possible by mixing 1.2 kg of LCS-3 into 10 liters of water.
Alternatively, LCS-3 can be sprinkled or placed onto poultry bedding and/or specific areas of the poultry house to combat red mites and litter beetles. If the bedding is dry, LCS-3 acts as an insecticide; if the bedding is wet, it functions as an absorbent by drawing out the moisture. Its water retention capacity is 165%. Once it dries again, it resumes its role as an insecticide. |
